When a close relative suddenly needs care, families have to quickly figure out how to balance caregiving and work. The 10-day special leave for family caregivers (short-term inability to work according to Section 2 of the Care Leave Act) allows employees to take up to ten working days off work (leave of absence) to organize acute care or ensure that care is provided.During this time, you are entitled to unpaid leave (vacation).
