The Förderverein Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Neuss e.V. supports and promotes educational programs for children and adolescents.
Among other things, language and reading skills are reinforced through regular storytime sessions as part of the schoolchildren's daily routine.
The organization is also committed to providing extracurricular activities for children and teenagers—for example, through outdoor activities.
“An educational field trip to a dairy farm is scheduled to take place before the end of this year,” says Angelika Zelleröhr, vice chair of the board. As part of an educational program, children and teenagers can experience firsthand where milk comes from and how it is processed. In the process, they gain fascinating insights into everyday life on the farm and learn about the animals and their needs.
With the 2,500-euro donation from the Agency for Domestic Help, the plan is to cover the cost of the field trip, including bus transportation for the children.
We are pleased to support the Friends Association in its work.
